An open restaurant that doubled as a workspace for young chefs
yayaho was a food and drink space TPZ operated at PLATZ 2.
TPZ’s brand introduction material from August 2022 described yayaho as an open restaurant where a workspace for young chefs sat alongside dining tables.
According to that material, the name came from ‘YaYaHo’, a system lighting design by the lighting designer Ingo Maurer, which hung from the ceiling of the restaurant. The room held one long communal table alongside tables for two and four.
