A journal of days built by people who kept their own time
WEIRDOS is an interview journal planned and published by Team Positive Zero. The inaugural issue was released on March 3, 2023, and at publication it was sold at the design gift shop LOBBY and through Kyobo Book Centre, YES24 and Aladin.
The issue carries seven interviews: the novelist Jung Ji-don, the magazine publisher and editor-in-chief Karl Henkel, the graphic designer Na Kim, the musician Lim Geum-bi, the chef Dalad Kambu, the vintage furniture shop co-directors Lee A-young and Kim Sung-min, and the installation artist Choi Jeong-hwa. Between the interviews sit scene, on familiar names and unfamiliar landscapes; objects, on things that resemble their owners; and current, on the lives shared by younger practitioners working today.
The pages focus on the language and attitude of people who add something new to everyday life in their own way, rather than on public profile. Clients considering a brand journal or interview-led content can review a scope that TPZ handled directly, from planning through editing and publication.
