POSITIVE ZERO LOUNGE — KIND OF YELLOW

A limited 2LP for a jazz lounge’s third year

KIND OF YELLOW is an album that TPZ planned and produced to mark the third anniversary of Positive Zero Lounge. The music was released on streaming services first; the 2LP then launched through a Tumblbug crowdfunding campaign and was later sold on 29CM.

Two 180 g yellow vinyl discs in a gatefold sleeve, limited to 500 copies. Of the 16 tracks, seven are remastered songs chosen one each from the participating musicians’ own albums (excluding Sunwoojunga’s), and nine are new songs the members wrote for the project.

The musicians moved between line-ups from trio to septet, playing swing, samba, bossa nova and free music. Sunwoojunga features on one of the new songs, ‘Good Reason’.
