A gift shop that opens onto PLATZ 2’s exhibition spaces

Lobby, the gift shop that forms the first impression of PLATZ 2, carries stationery, tableware and design objects, and gives a sense of what the building holds.

TPZ’s project notice from the time described Lobby as a space open to the public that carries the character of PLATZ 2. The staircase at its centre, it explained, leads to the multipurpose exhibition space Current and down to Underground.

According to the notice, the bookshelf in Lobby held books and objects chosen by taste, and each piece of furniture in the space displayed products suited to it.
