A collaborative café beside the Lacoste pop-up

The A-frame sign read “Le Cafe Lacoste x Beans and Flour”. According to the press release, Le Café Lacoste is the brand’s temporary café format, shown in Berlin in 2022 and at its Tokyo Harajuku flagship in 2023 before Seoul.

Beans and Flour kept its existing recipes and added branding on top. According to the plan, juices carried a crocodile label, bakery items came in Lacoste-logo greaseproof paper, and a crocodile cookie went with desserts. The focaccia sandwich was served on LACOSTE1933 paper.

TPZ ran the café. The awning, window decals and sign were changed to the pop-up design and restored to Beans and Flour afterwards, and TPZ’s creative director joined the in-store display. Beans and Flour returned to normal hours on 20 May.
